现任南京大学国际关系学院准聘副教授、特聘研究员、博士研究生导师，兼任学院学术秘书、科研秘书，硕士研究生德育导师，南京大学华智全球治理研究院研究员，南京大学区域国别研究院研究员，南京大学“苗圃计划”青年人才、江苏省“双创博士”人才，曾任南京大学国际关系学院助理研究员、南京大学政府管理学院特任助理研究员、美国哈佛大学肯尼迪政府学院亚洲研究员，先后在哈佛大学、宾夕法尼亚大学、澳门大学等高校担任访问学者，曾赴布鲁金斯学会、传统基金会、国际与战略研究中心、兰德公司等美国智库从事短期交流。两次获得教育部留学基金委（CSC）公费出国留学奖学金，分别在比利时法语布鲁塞尔自由大学（ULB）和哈佛大学从事硕士、博士联合培养。主要研究台湾问题、中美关系、亚太国际关系、美国智库与外交过程、“全球南方”。在上述及相关研究领域已出版多部中英文专著译著，学术代表作为Explaining Taiwan’s Chinese Mainland Policy Change: A Punctuated Equilibrium Perspective（《间断均衡理论视角下我国台湾地区大陆政策变迁研究》，Palgrave 2026），在国内外中英文核心期刊发表40余篇论文，主流媒体发表百余篇英文评论文章。主持国家重点研发计划子课题、国社科等国家级省部级项目或课题十多项，人大复印报刊资料等转载论文近十篇（次），相关政策研究获中央部委肯定性批示或采用。 招收并指导全日制硕博士研究生。其中，指导博士研究生研究方向包括：08 区域国别研究；12 大国博弈与台湾问题；指导硕士研究生研究方向包括中美关系、台湾问题、美国研究、国际关系、全球治理等。另常年招聘研究助理，欢迎诚实守信、热爱科研、执行力强、掌握必要研究方法，且具有科研项目工作经验者（非必须）电子邮件联系、咨询。

BIO Dr. ZHOU Wenxing is currently a tenure-track Associate Professor of International Politics and PhD supervisor at School of International Studies (SIS), Nanjing University (NJU). Previously, he served as Rajawali Asia Fellow at John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (2017~2018), Assistant Research Professor at NJU’s School of Government (2020~2021), and Assistant Research Professor at SIS (2021~2024). Prof. Zhou holds a doctorate degree in public administration from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, undertaken through a Joint-PhD program at Harvard University. Prior to his academic journey to Shanghai, he was a Joint-Master student between Belgium’s l’Université Libre de Bruxelles and Wuhan University, where he received my L.L.M. in international relations. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in English. Prof. Zhou’s research spans comparative politics and international relations, with a particular focus on the Taiwan question, China-U.S. relations, U.S. think tanks and foreign policy making, Asia Pacific international relations, and the Global South. His academic monograph Explaining Taiwan's Chinese Mainland Policy Change: A Punctuated Equilibrium Perspectivehas been published with the Springer Nature’s Palgrave Macmillan in January 2026. He is also co-editor of A Study on the Theory and Practice of “One Country, Two Systems” (Jiuzhou Press, 2020) and has contributed to several jointly translated volumes in both English and Chinese. His scholarly articles have appeared in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Contemporary China, The China Review, International Sociology, Contemporary International Relations, The Chinese Journal of American Studies, and Taiwan Studies. In addition to academic publications, he writes extensively on current affairs. Apart from academic work, he is fond of traveling and has so far traveled to more than 30 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Europe and America. He also enjoys reading, camping, swimming, watching movies, and playing basketball. He lives with his family in Yuhuatai District of Nanjing. Prof. Zhou currently supervises master’s and doctoral students. He welcomes graduate students who are passionate about academic research, honest, trustworthy, and down-to-earth (mandatory qualities) to contact him. It would be a plus if applicants possess solid theoretical knowledge, command specific research methods, and are proficient in at least one foreign language (preferred but NOT mandatory). Prof. Zhou also recruits research assistants from NJU and beyond.
