Dr. Zhang is currently Assistant Research Fellow at Collaborative Innovation Center of South China Sea Studies, Nanjing University. He holds a Ph. D degree in Law from Osaka University, Japan. His research specialty is International Law (International Law of the Sea, International Law of Nuclear Safety, etc.) His recent research focuses on legal issues concerning of South China Sea dispute, Sino-Japan maritime dispute and Fukushima Nuclear Contaminated Water. He teaches Student Thesis Writing for undergraduate and post-graduate students at School of International Studies(SIS). He’s planning for starting main course of International Law at SIS since autumn, 2023. Dr. Zhang also serves as Deputy Secretary-General of Chinese Association for Japanese Studies. Course Teaching
